11 MAKE-UP TIPS FOR CURLY GIRL WITH GLASSES

By: Augusta Falletta

1. Grab a pair of makeup glasses like these.

The lens flips from one side to the other. Wear the left side lens while doing your right eye, and the right side lens while doing your left. BAM.

2. Get yourself a handy set of travel eye makeup brushes with really short handles.

This way, you’ll be able to get right up to the mirror without your brush handles hitting anything.

3. Use a volumizing mascara, not a curling mascara.

Super-curled lashes will just hit your lenses. Stick with a volumizing mascara to get your lashes thicker, not curlier (or longer).

4. To keep your glasses from sliding down your nose, use an eyeshadow primer before anything else.

Whether or not you’re wearing foundation, using a primer on the bridge of your nose will prevent slippage. For even more staying power, use a translucent powder or setting spray on top.

5. Frames usually cast a shadow under your eye. Use a yellow-toned concealer to counteract the shadow.

Just Remember to Blend!

6. Your glasses frame your eyes, but your eyebrows frame your glasses.

Get out your pencil, gel, powder, or whatever kind of brow product you have and get those ladies looking fine.

7. The bigger the frame, the more room you have to work with.

Go for a smokey eye! Use that Naked Palette! Play around with your eyeshadow because you totally have the space for that.

8. Bust out your favorite/brightest/boldest lipstick color.

You don’t even have to wear anything else. Just put on the color that matches your mood and wear it with pride.

9. Line up the flick of your cat eye with the top corner of your glasses

It’ll draw your eyes up and make them appear larger

10. Experiment with beauteous eyeliner colors.

Or, if you want, use an eyeliner brush to apply a bright eyeshadow along your lower lash line

11. Colored frames get even better when they’re coordinated with makeup.

Red frames, red lips, can’t lose.

Now that you know some *~magical~* hacks, it’s time for some makeup inspiration.

Because wearing glasses doesn’t have to mean boring makeup
